Hacking Audio Hardware Week 3

Baby’s First Oscillator!

I mean .. my first oscillator.

To start this off, I forgot I blew my speaker and replacement from the first class. So I attempted to use my QBox and SoundBullet for speakers. I tried both.

Below is the first circuit using a potentiometer.

Next, same circuit different variable resistor. I used some copper tape that was connected to one wire, and another free floating wire with a copper flag I attached to it to manipulate on my own. For some reason in the second video, for the first two minutes there wasn’t a whole lot of sounds, but at about 2:03 it starts to make some cool effects.

Not sure if I did these 100% correctly, but I got some cool sounds out of it.
