ITP/IMA Research Residency (2023 - 2024)
Analog Synth (Residency Project), actual name still TBD...
I have occassionally built simple noise makers since taking Billy Bennett's Hacking Audio Hardware class during
my first semester at ITP.
(See this Intro to Fabrication project.)
During my research residency I experimented with many different analog audio circuits such as various
oscillators, filters, mixers, etc. For the resident show I decided to continue this exploration of
analog audio and built my own version of a modular synthesizer.
Drawing Bugs
I wanted to continue building other 'drawing machines' and wanted to go a bit more analog.
Tom Igoe's VNA (Vector Network Analyzer)
"Bianca-- Make this work and document it." --Tom Igoe
I'm sorry to disappoint you Tom, I didn't do anything cool with this.
Binary Clock Google Chrome Extension
Had some office hours with someone who had questions regarding their project for the class Time.
It inspired me to make a clock.
Mini ADM (Abstract Drawing Machine)
Expanding on my thesis, I built a mini version of ADM
(Abstract Drawing Machine) to hang on the wall in front of my desk.
I've been playing around with different equations and using the Desmos
online graphing calculator.
