Analog Synth (Residency Project), actual name still TBD...

I have occassionally built simple noise makers since taking Billy Bennett's Hacking Audio Hardware class during my first semester at ITP.
(See this Intro to Fabrication project.) During my research residency I experimented with many different analog audio circuits such as various oscillators, filters, mixers, etc. For the resident show I decided to continue this exploration of analog audio and built my own version of a modular synthesizer.

Mini ADM

Expanding on my thesis, I built a mini version of ADM (Abstract Drawing Machine) to hang on the wall in front of my desk.
I've been playing around with different equations and using the Desmos online graphing calculator.

ADM (Abstract Drawing Machine)

My thesis - ADM (Abstract Drawing Machine) - is a drawing machine with multiple functions that allos it to be both an art installation as well as an interactive machine that encourages people to be curious and playful. This project is both the machine itself as well as the process of research and experimentation, a custom Arduino library, and many many drawings.
